A Sandbox Built with Love

Grandma and Papa had been planning it for awhile, but with the first warm days of March they put their plan into action and built a sandbox for Hannah, Owen, Wesley, and any future grandchildren to play in at their house.  They carefully thought about the size and built seats in the corners.  They built a top to keep out the critters and added filled it with 11 bags of sand!  This special project was a work of love and one that will create lots of fun memories for all us.

Hannah and Owen were lucky enough to have a gorgeous day last week to head down to Grandma and Papa's to play in the sandbox before Mommy got finished with work.  Papa was so excited to play that he left work a little early and met them there.  No one wants to miss out on sandbox play!  Hannah and Owen thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon playing in the sandbox, outside in the backyard, and riding their scooters on Grandma and Papa's flat driveway and culdesac.  Mommy enjoyed how fast they asleep that night! We can't wait for more warm spring days!

Owen is hard at work filling up his dump truck.

Hannah's babies that stay at Grandma and Papa's also made it out to play in the sandbox.

I even got a chance to play after driving down to Grandma and Papa's after work.
