Meeting Wesley Scott

Hannah and Owen's cousin, Wesley Scott Houston, arrived on January 12th at 6:03am weighing 6 lbs 9 oz and he was 20 1/2 inches long.  About 3 weeks after he was born Aunt Vic and Uncle Troy came to our house to hang out for the Super Bowl and Hannah and Owen got to meet baby Wesley (as we affectionately call him) face to face.  We had a great time hanging out with our families and marvel at how much things have changed and how our families have grown in just a little over a year.

Hannah was enamored with Wesley.  She grinned the whole night and constantly pointed towards him.  She would not leave my side when I was holding him or Victoria's side when she was holding Wesley.  She was so curious and wanted to touch him and love on him.  She is definitely a little girl.  Owen took notice of Wesley and was also curious, but he continued to fight for the spot of being the center of attention and did his best to ham it up all night keeping us all laughing and smiling.  We were constantly vigilant when Owen came around as Wesley came close to being broadsided by several books and Owen's sesame street guitar several times.  Hannah was much more gentle around him. 

Needless to say with 3 babies in the house and lots of snacks we didn't watch too much of the game!  :o)
