In the past month Hannah started referring to herself by her name. It started out sounding like Hannie, but within a week or two it became Hannah. I was pretty sure she was saying her name, but knew distinctively one night when I wasn't paying attention and put her in Owen's highchair. She erupted with "Hanie, Hanie, Hanie" until I realized what I'd done and what she was trying to tell me. Now whenever she wants a turn to do something or play with something (especially when Owen is the one playing with what she wants) she says Hannah in reference to herself needing a turn. It is really funny! Owen now refers to Hannah as NaNa and sometimes it becomes NaNaNa especially if he is trying to keep her away from what he is playing with. Now Hannah also more clearly says Owen, but leaves off the 'n' so it comes out as Ow-uh.
