Saying Goodbye to Summer

This summer flew by us in a flash.  One of our favorite activities ended up being our trips to Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens.  We decided that Families After 5 was a wonderful way to end a day.  We would go after Chris got home from work and spend a couple of hours walking and playing.  No matter how hot the temperatures were outside it seemed so much cooler in the gardens.  We enjoyed one of the last Family After 5 events with our good friends 'Nah and Avery.

 Hannah, Owen, and Avery love playing together.  When you ask Hannah who her friend is she will say Avery every time.

 Daddy gets talked into going through the frog--no wonder we stay so cool.  We always end up as wet as Hannah and Owen and I always forget to pack towels for us!

 This night was groovin in the Children's garden with drums and other instruments.  Avery and Owen take turns playing the drum.
