Easter Egg Hunt

We were excited to take part in the Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma and Papa's church this year.  They always have everything so organized and well thought.  Hannah and Owen always look forward to the Fall Festival and so we knew this was going to be fun too.  The children were divided up into different age groups and they rotated through a number of different stations which worked out perfectly.  They had the chance to do Easter type crafts, get their faces painted, play some games, hear the Easter story a couple of times, and collect Easter eggs.  It was the perfect way to spend the morning!

Who's ready to find Easter eggs?  "Me, me, me!"
First we colored pictures and decorated cupcakes.
Felix got to join in on the fun!

Onto to face painting...a bunny and a sunshine!

Then we dyed Easter eggs and put stickers on them.
Our next station was games.  We did a lot of activities with a parachute.

After listening to the Easter story it was time find eggs!  This was pretty funny because the eggs were empty.  They filled their baskets, dumped them back into a large bucket and the volunteers tossed them out again.  Hannah and Owen had fun collected the eggs and didn't really care that there wasn't anything in them!  They had gotten to choose candy during one of the stations anyways.
