Egg Hunt!
Hannah and Owen took part in their first Easter Egg hunt this past week at my school. I was having a Spring party for my class and we always do an egg hunt as part of our party so I thought it would be fun for Hannah and Owen to join us. My students were very excited that Hannah and Owen came as I talk about them all the time and have many pictures scattered around the room. The students were so sweet and caring as they helped them find eggs, put spilled eggs back in their baskets, and watched over them in the classroom. Grandma did a great job getting Hannah and Owen ready for the big event, loaded in the car, and up to school by herself. This was their first outing with her by herself and it is quite an undertaking! Hannah and Owen had so much fun running around with the kids in my class and I was suprised that they quickly figured out and knew what to do as we had not done any practicing at home. Hannah was her usual self and stayed in about a 15 foot radius while Owen trapsed the entire courtyard several times! They played hard and wore themselves out-I had to wake them up from their afternoon nap at 5:20pm! It was so fun to share the day with them. The other teachers I work with were suprised at how big they are now-real little people running and playing and not babies anymore.
