I love this picture of Hannah.
She was watching a movie and decided the coffee table was as good a place as any to take a seat.
We went to the Shades of Green Resort on Disney property to buy our park hopper tickets. This is a resort only for military families. Since Granddad is retired from the military he was able to purchase tickets for us at a reduced cost.
Hannah and Owen were so excited to finally see a Mickey Mouse since they had been looking for him since we left Virginia!
A Visit to Downtown Disney:
We decided to hit the Downtown Disney shopping/dining area on the first day so Hannah and Owen could go ahead and pick out some souvenirs and spend their vacation money from Mema. While at Downtown Disney we went to the Lego store. We didn't find any Duplo's we really wanted, but we did like playing with the Lego's outside.
Shopping at The Disney Store:
Hannah was as excited to see Cinderella as she was to see Mickey.
Hannah picked up every item in the largest Disney store ever looking for the thing that she deemed her favorite. She looked at every necklace and stuffed Mickey and Friends that she could find. She finally settled on a medium sized Minnie Mouse dressed in pink polka dots and she fell in love with it instantly!
Owen had his sights set on this very large Mickey Mouse (or as Owen says Mickwee). He thought hugging this Mickey was the best thing ever. We talked him into a smaller one and now he won't go anywhere without it. Mickey is his new best bud!
Hannah and Owen were proud of their purchases as they stood in line and handed the cashier their money.
We had to have mouse ears for our first visit to Disney...oh, how cute they'll look with our shirts Mommy ordered for our day at The Magic Kingdom!
This girl keeps us smiling!
An Afternoon by the Pool:We were excited to get Hannah and Owen back in the pool. They've loved swimming every summer, but it had been awhile since they'd experienced the pool. We suited up, loaded the bag with toys, and put on our floats for an afternoon of splishing and splashing! Hannah jumped right in as if she had been swimming for years. She was fearless and afraid to try nothing. She wanted to go under like grandma and was floating on her back by the time we left. It took Owen a little while to warm up to getting in mostly because he thought the water was cold. He enjoyed playing on edge, but joined in the jumping and swimming before the afternoon ended.
Little Miss Thing
Mommy's boy
We all got a kick out of Hannah's laid back relaxation as she floats in the pool.
Ready, Set, Jump!
We enjoyed swimming with Grandma and Papa.
Owen likes motor boat, motor boat, go so slow...motor boat, motor boat, step on the...gas!
We always knew she was a princess! Hannah sits all wrapped up and very content lounging by the pool for about 10 minutes until we said it was time to leave.
Hannah and Granddad play around as we unwind from our afternoon at the pool.
