I had lots of projects planned for Hannah and Owen over the summer (it comes with the territory when your mommy is a teacher). I had a list of art projects I wanted to complete plus I threw in some random things based on what we were doing or what they were interested in. I ran across this idea for foam or cloud dough and thought they'd really like to try it considering they love play-doh and helping to cook in the kitchen. Our cloud dough project turned into an all day affair because they LOVED it! Once we got the recipe figured out and got the correct consistency and storage containers they played, scooped, and were enamored with this stuff for 2 hours at a time. We made a huge mess in the kitchen in the morning, set it aside for lunch and naps, and then mommy got smart and we took it outside in the afternoon and played some more. This was definitely top on our list this summer.
Our ingredients...lots of shaving cream and cornstarch.
The first ingredients get measured out...
The mixing begins...wow, this is going to be fun!
Note: We quickly upgraded to larger containers!
The scooping and measuring and squeezing lasted for hours.
Sometimes you just have to make a mess!
This is so fun!
