Impressive!

Owen always amazes us with his knack for building things (especially towers).  We don't know how he does it or what his magic is, but he somehow manages to stack and balance his blocks just right so that his tower stays upright even though the blocks are not always stacked straight.  On an almost daily basis we find ourselves stepping back to admire his work while muttering, "wow, Owen".  Take a look at his recent "buildings" from this summer that I managed to capture.

 Owen quite often builds towers taller than himself.  He gets the biggest kick out of balancing on his tippy toes to put the last blocks in place.  Just look at the jagged arrangement of blocks and how they are turned and twisted, but balanced perfectly!

 On this night Grandad was part of the building team too.

Hmm...just a few left...

 The finished tower...this time they are double stacked and balancing on one square block that is on the bottom.

Owen created a "ladder" out of box and step stool to finish this masterpiece.  

And yes, he did this all by himself.

 Wow...impressive!
