Each week I tried to do a few art activities with Hannah and Owen based on things we'd seen, read about, or had done. We made lots of beach related crafts before our vacation, we made sunflowers after going to Lewis Ginter and seeing some, and we made trash trucks because Owen loves them. We also made a rainy day picture one week when it seemed like it rained or stormed every day! Owen tolerates art projects, but his attention span is short lived and he likes a lot of help from mommy. Hannah gets into arts and crafts more and spend a lot of time on her projects usually. Using a glue stick is her favorite thing! They are both dying to use scissors, but mommy hasn't gotten up the nerve to try that yet!

Hannah and Owen each made suns, turtles, crabs, and beach balls for our pretend beach.

This is the way to make a trash truck...
first, you color
and next you glue.
Green for Owen and Purple for Hannah
We are proud of our finished trash trucks!
