Go Dog Go!

I was really excited to take Hannah and Owen to see a live theater show this summer produced by the Children's Theater of Virginia.  Last summer I felt like they were too young, but I knew this summer they were ready and would love it!  I was even more excited when I realized the show was Go Dog Go because it is one of their favorite books and one I loved as a child too.  We decided to make it a family affair and we invited Grandma, Aunt Vic, Wesley, and Mimi to go with us.  Everyone loved it!  Hannah and Owen thought it was really funny and it is very entertaining to hear them tell someone about the experience and to watch them reenact the scenes.  Wesley did really well and was memorized the whole time.  A theater full of children's laughter is all an adult needs to have a good time so we all enjoyed it too.  Before the show they got to decorate party hats with crayons and stickers.  After the show they got to meet all the dogs from the show and Hannah and Owen chose to have them sign their hats.  They also wanted to take a couple of pictures with their favorites.  Unfortuanately I forgot my camera and these are the only two pictures I was able to get.  We can't wait to go back again!
