Christmas Day

After a busy morning of opening gifts from Santa and brunch for Nana's birthday we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's house to celebrate Christmas.  Again, we all ate dinner and enjoyed opening presents, visiting with each other, and playing with Hannah and Owen.  Uncle Troy, Aunt Vic, and our dog cousin, Champ, joined us too.  Hannah and Owen were experts at opening presents by Christmas evening.  They were chomping at the bit to get to the presents under Grandma and Grandpa's tree.  They also wanted to open everyone's gifts not just their own.  I think Hannah successfully pulled tissue paper out of everyone's gifts.  They got a really neat Fisher Price puzzle with jungle animals, a fish xylophone to add to their collection of musical instruments, a Leap Frog learning house which is really cute, and a remote control airplane.  They also each got some money and a new outfit.  Their Great Aunt Debra and Great Uncle Donald gave them pillow pets which were a huge hit!  Aunt Vic and Uncle Troy gave them learning flashcard puzzles to enjoy when they get a little older.  Hannah and Owen were also excited to help Aunt Vic open some of baby Wesley's presents too since he isn't here yet to open them himself.

Pillow Pets!!

One of Hannah and Owen's favorite gifts have been their pillow pets!  They love to dive on them and roll around as well as cuddle up with them on the floor.  They often squeal in delight while doing all of the above.

Hannah and Champ...

Hannah has always had a fascination with Champ, Aunt Vic and Uncle Troy's dog.  She used to get frustrated and upset when Champ would come close enough for her to pet him.  I think she is definitely going to be a dog lover!
