Mema's Quilts

Chris' grandmother, Mema, makes the most beautiful baby quilts that are famous in our family.  Since it took us so long to finally have our family Hannah and Owen's quilts were actually started before I was even pregnant with them.  Mema decided to start making some quilts for future use and started with a boy's and a girl's.  I think she knew just what she was doing!  We were so excited when we were finally able to tell her that we were pregnant...with twins...and that she needed to pick up the pace with those quilts!  Mema finished Hannah and Owen's coveted quilts just before their first birthday.  They are so special to us and Hannah and Owen already love them.  I love that Mema stitched their names, birthdates, and length, weight, and birthtime onto the back of each quilt along with a heart that is made out of material from my baby blanket.  Thank you Mema for these treasures and the time you spent cutting and sewing them for Hannah and Owen.

Where is Hannah?  Peekaboo is a favorite game with Mema's quilt.

I love my quilt Mema!
