A Special Present for Grandma

Mommy and Aunt Vic decided it would be a good idea to have Hannah, Owen, and Wesley make stepping stones for Grandma's flower beds for Mother's Day.  Grandma really enjoys working outside whether it be tending to her flowers or cutting the grass and pulling up weeds.  We thought stepping stones would make a nice addition to her flower beds and would be enjoyed often as we will spend much time in the years to come enjoying the new swing set and sandbox that Grandma and Papa put in for their grandchildren.  Mommy pulled all the stuff out one night while Daddy was out of town and then put it all back in box deciding that Daddy was more of a concrete expert.  I was glad I waited for Chris' help with this project.  It was a little messy, but we were well prepared and all the stepping stones turned out really cute.

After Daddy got the concrete mix wet we had to take turns mixing it up.

Then Daddy scooped it and smoothed it out perfectly before we got started.
After putting our hand in it to make a hand-print we added colored rocks and glass beads.

 Hannah's finished stepping stone.

Owen's finished stepping stone.
