Happy Mother's Day!

I decided to skip church on mother's day which is usually good but not always the easiest with two 3  year olds.  I thought it sounded like more fun to go to Lewis Ginter for the morning before it got crowded and before Hannah and Owen needed a nap.  It turned out to be a great idea!  It was a beautiful day and the butterfly exhibit was newly opened for the summer.  Nana decided to join us and we spent the morning among the flowers.  Our favorite flowers this trip were the peonies.

Hannah and Owen enjoyed using magnifying glasses for an up close look at the butterflies.

Some of the roses were blooming beautifully too!

Hannah continues to be a budding photographer!

Later that afternoon we had Nana, Grandad, and Uncle Jake over for dinner.  It was a great day spent celebrating being a mom and spending time as a family together.
