Summer Days

The start of our summer has been fantastic.  We've been outside as much as possible enjoying backyard playtime as well as sprinklers and swimming in the pool.  Summer is my cherished time with my precious kids.  Oh, how they've grown and changed since last summer.

Our inflatable pool on the deck for Hannah and Owen...it continues to amaze me how the novelty of this pool never seems to wear off.  They will play in it for up to 2 hours and they get along and enjoy each other's company while doing so.  This has been a great summer activity for us!

We've also been swimming at Aunt Debra and Uncle Donald's pool.  The best thing about Aunt Debra and Uncle Donald's pool are our cousins Jay and Anna.  Hannah and Owen just adore them and love playing with them in the pool.  They think everything they do is super cool and they want to try it too.  Jay and Anna are so sweet to them as they share everything and offer nothing but encouraging words to their younger cousins.  We are so glad we have the extra time brought by summer to get to play with them more often than usual.
