An Evening Outside

One of our favorite things to do is play outside in the late afternoon/evening once Mommy and Daddy come home.  Hannah and Owen will easily spend 2 hours just hanging out in the backyard.  Hannah's favorite thing to do is swing and she always enjoys bringing her baby dolls out to play.  Owen loves playing in the dirt and rocks with his trucks.  He has also recently taking a liking to playing with his soccer ball and football and chasing them all around the yard.  Sometimes we play in the sand box or draw with chalk too.  Most evenings our friends from next door run over as soon as they get home (Mr. Josh, Mrs. Brenda, Sarah, and Hannah).  We've spent many fun afternoons playing and hanging out with them.  It often turns into eating dinner together as well. On this night the mini trampoline we have was the favorite activity and the kids practiced their counting as they waited for each to take turns.  The ice cream truck also happened to come visit our neighborhood which made this night for a group of kids playing outside that much sweeter!

 Ice cream tonight was Mr. Josh's treat...thanks, Mr. Josh!
