Meeting Baby Hailey

Hannah and Owen were blessed with a new baby cousin on Saturday, August 16th.  Hannah was so excited about baby Hailey's arrival.  She had been looking forward to a real, live baby for sometime and waiting can be very hard for 3 year olds.  Hannah made several cute statements about Aunt Vic and baby Hailey, but our favorite was a week before Hailey was born when she said, "Aunt Vic your tummy is soooo big!".  Hannah and Owen got to meet Hailey for the first time at Grandma and Papa's house when she was 2 weeks old.  It was so sweet to watch the event unfold as Hannah was mesmerized.  Owen was very sweet and gentle with Hailey too and was more interested than I thought he'd be.  They both enjoyed rocking her in her cradle.  Hannah LOVED holding her and Owen was disappointed that he played too much and ran out of time to hold her.  We'll all have lots of fun together in the coming years!
