Monkey See, Monkey Do...Laugh, Monkey, Laugh

Owen and Hannah are incredibly fun right now.  I feel so blessed to have been able to spend the entire summer with them.  They are a true blessing in our lives and bring us so much joy each day.  I have enjoying playing with them each day and watching as they grow, change, and learn so much everyday.  Now that Hannah and Owen are both mobile (and boy, can they crawl fast!) and pulling up we are busier than ever.  I often do just sit in the living room floor as I have forgotten what it is like to sit on the couch and watch them as they explore each area, chair, table, and rug in our living room, kitchen, and dining room.  However, there is also a lot of up and down as I retrieve one or the other or both and bring them back to toys and a safer play spot.  Each day they are discovering each other more and more.  They enjoy crawling towards and after each other and often chase each other down the hallway.  Owen almost begs Hannah to play with him and chase him.  On August 30th they had their first moment where they truly laughed at each other.  We have a crawl through gym that a friend handed down to us.  Right away Owen loved to crawl through the fabric curtain in a game of where's Owen and where's Mommy.  Hannah was not so sure of what was on the other side so she would bat at it or peek through it,  but not crawl all the way through until today.  Well they were both playing around the gym and one was on each side of the curtain.  Hannah crawled through towards Owen and he just giggled and then went through the curtain after Hannah and she laughed and laughed.  Then they both stood holding on to either side of the gym.  They were facing each other and again they laughed and giggled at the other.  Owen would plop down and pull back up and laugh and laugh and laugh.  It was such a joyous moment that their laughter was infectious.  Their Nana and I laughed right along with them.  I now wish I had gotten a video of it, but I tried to capture it in a quick picture although it doesn't due the moment justice.
