Now we're pulling up and he is so proud of himself! Owen loves a challenge and often laughs and giggles when attempting to get himself up. I'd like to count how many times Owen gets up and down in a given day. I know I'd lose track because it would be in the hundreds. Just watching him exhausts us. Owen is our mover and shaker as he is very active and always on the move. Nana always says he is such a busy boy!
This is Cooper-a gift from Nana and Granddad's trip to Canada. I believe Hannah thinks it is a real dog because she laughs and giggles when holding him and even strokes the fur as if petting him. She acts the same way with her stuffed Cooper as she does with her dog cousin-Champ!
Hannah is our talker. It is so interesting how the differences in boys and girls is already so evident. Hannah is very verbal and seems to carry on full conversations with herself and her toys. She makes many sounds now including sh, ya, na, and ra. I'm still waiting on mama though. Owen does his share of communicating but it is more in laughs, grunts, shouts, and vowel sounds. I call his form of communication cave man speak.
Hannah loves to push and sling toys under the couch and then try to get them back out. At the end of any given night I always have to pull toys out from under the couch.
Owen and Hannah have helped each other with their daily chore of pulling out all the bibs and littering the living room and hallway floor with them. It was Owen's job for a long time, one he took seriously, but Hannah has decided to join in and help him out on more than one occasion. Sometimes Owen will pull the bib basket out just for Hannah's enjoyment. One day it was stuck and she started fussing. Owen crawled over and hemanned it out from under the pack and play and then crawled away on his own adventure and left Hannah to her fun.
It is hysterical to watch them crawl after each other. I haven't quite captured it the way I see it.
This is Owen's whiny face. He wrinkles up his nose and it just makes me laugh!
Peekaboo is one of our favorites. Where is Hannah?
