Catching Up...

In the last month and half our family has been struck by every germ that seems to exist.  All four of us plus Grandma were struck with Norovirus in a 48 hour period.  It started with Hannah on a Saturday morning (but we didn't know what it was because she managed to get the mild version), hit me around 10pm on Monday night, Chris around midnight, Owen at 6am the next morning, and Grandma at 4pm the next afternoon.  I haven't been that sick in a long long time and it was awful.  Thank goodness Grandma was able to take care of Hannah and Owen long enough for Chris and me to recover enough to manage taking over their care.  About 2 1/2 weeks after Norovirus Hannah, Owen, and Grandma came down with the flu (even though Hannah and Owen had their flu shots!).  Owen was able to get Tamiflu, but Hannah was miserable for a week straight.  Both had fevers for about 5 days.  Chris and I managed to dodge that bullet with the help of some Tamiflu as a preventative.  Hannah rounded out the flu with a double ear infection about a week and half later.  To top it all off Owen is getting his two year molars and cutting teeth have always caused him a lot of trouble.  So...I've gotten very behind on Hannah and Owen's blog and have been anxiously waiting for a window of time with which to catch up.  I'll probably get a lot of new posts on here in the next few days so check back often!

 We watched a lot of tv and got a lot of snuggles as we tried to recover.
