Our First Visit to the Children's Museum

On Friday, Mommy's school had a spirit night/fundraiser at the downtown Children's Museum location.  I had been holding off on taking Hannah and Owen there until I felt they were old enough to truly play and enjoy all the play areas.  This was a great opportunity since it was only open to MES families and their friends.  Hannah and Owen had plenty of room to run, explore, and play.  They loved every minute of being there and couldn't figure out what to do first.  Hannah just walked from room to room giggling while Owen dove right in and started playing.  Owen's favorite room was the grocery store where he got to pretend to slide the groceries over the scanner and hear it go beep.  He also frequented the real ambulance many times during the night.  Hannah liked the slides, the school, and the garage.

We still like to pick apples!
Owen drives a real ambulance (a-a as he pronounces it).

"Thank you, mam! Have a nice day!"
Hannah counts in the classroom.  She can actually count to 11, 12, or 13 pretty consistently but her numbers don't always match the objects she is counting.

Not yet, Hannah!  Don't grow up to fast on Mommy and Daddy!
Hmmm, do we have a little teacher on our hands?!

Hannah loves the carousel (and seeing herself in the mirror)!
We changed tires in the garage.
The girls (Hannah, Avery, and Nah) admire themselves in the 3 way mirror.
Owen harvests some prize winning carrots and puts them in his pick up truck.

We had so much fun playing together on this Friday night that we couldn't think of a better way to end it than with a trip to Sweet Frog!  Look at these sweet kids enjoying their ice cream treats after a fun night together.
