Hannah and Owen have always liked listening to music and play and march with their toy instruments daily. They have been going to Kindermusik for almost a year and love their weekly music class. It is so amazing to see how much they have grown in the areas of following directions, joining in, and playing along with the instruments correctly. It also warms my heart to see them patiently waiting in line for their stamp at the end of class. Both Hannah and Owen are starting to sing the words to songs they know when you ask them too. Of course their favorite song (Owen's especially) is Yankee Doodle although it goes like this, "Yank Doodle Yank Doodle Yank Doodle ride on pony!". Hannah sings almost all the words and almost all are understandable. They will also sing Row, Row, Row Your Boat pretty well. Hannah also has Twinkle Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Rain Rain Go Away in her collection of songs to sing. She will also randomly do This Little Piggy to her own toes on occasion and it cracks me up!
Owen marches and plays the drum and says he is doing Yankee Doodle which is their favorite marching song.

Owen sings Yankee Doodle while wearing a plastic folder that he pretends is his special Yankee Doodle hat! This kid keeps us laughing...enjoy!
