On New Year's Eve Mommy and Nana took Hannah and Owen to Lewis Ginter for their New Year's Eve Family Frolic. It was a great event that was kid friendly as it started at 2pm and ended at 5pm. It was not too crowded and Hannah and Owen enjoyed getting to walk around and explore every part of the garden. We got an up close parking spot and so went stroller free (a first for us). Hannah and Owen walked every square inch and did a great job. I know their little legs had to be tired! During the event we listened to a children's band, made party hats, saw the train exhibit, and walked around. I think seeing the trains was their favorite thing! Owen loved the model fire station where the fire truck pulled out and backed back in. There were buttons to push all along the display that made parts of it move. Owen enjoyed making the digger "dig" dirt.
I don't think he can get any closer!

Owen hides in hopes of saying boo and startling Hannah and Nana.
Nana, Hannah, and Owen have a parade around the bench.
Later in the evening Mommy and Daddy go out for dinner with our friends Sarah and Lee while Nana and Grandad hang out, play, and put Hannah and Owen to bed. Grandad was in charge of reading stories before bed.
