Chris and Kristen + 2: Another Snowy Day

This round of snow took us by surprise as we weren't "supposed" to get anything. Maybe an inch at the most the weatherman said while Va Beach and places in North Carolina were going to see record amounts of snowfall. Well, the precipitation shifted west and...we got more snow! It was really cold again which meant that again it was light and fluffy snow. Hannah and Owen are dying to make a snowman and we haven't been able to yet, but we did get out for some more snow fun. Uncle Troy and Wesley joined us this time too. It was easy to stay out and play with warmer temperatures than the week before and no crazy windchill to deal with. Although we did enjoy warming up with hot chocolate when we came inside.

Uncle Troy and Wesley go down together. It's a good thing us grown ups have an excuse to play out in the snow. We have as much fun as Hannah, Owen, and Wesley!

Hannah works hard "clearing roads" as she said and then making snow birthday cakes complete with stick candles. Yes, we did have to sing Happy Birthday for every cake that was made!
