These Boots Were Made for Splashin'

Grandma and Papa gave Hannah and Owen rain boots for Christmas.  They love to jump and splash in puddles when it rains so mommy was very happy about this gift.  They loved wearing them inside...especially Owen since his transform him into a fireman.  One day over Christmas break they had an especially challenging morning and just seemed to be cooped up so we decided after their nap (and the rain ended) we would put on their rain boots and go out for a puddle walk!  They loved the idea and were instantly ready to go.  They walked all over the neighborhood walking through and splashing in every puddle they could find.  We had a great time together and our afternoon went much better thanks to some fresh air and a release of extra energy!

When we got home we warmed up with Hannah and Owen's first taste of hot chocolate!  Hannah loved it...Owen did not!
