It snowed again!

We were excited that it snowed again, but mommy is still wishing for a good snow so that the snow hangs around on the ground for a few days at least.  The latest round of snow started to fall on Friday afternoon and into the evening.  It gave us about an inch or so which was enough to play in.  It was best for sledding because it was so slick, but it didn't stick together enough to make a snowman.  It had been snowing for a couple of hours when daddy got home and he talked mommy into bundling up to go outside.  Daddy said the driveway was really slick and would make for good sledding.  It was freezing (below actually) but we got into our snowsuits for some sledding with daddy.  Hannah loved every second of it and the falling snow did not bother her.  Owen on the other hand did not like the snow falling in his face and was more content to watch the action from the side porch.  We also think he does not like the immobility caused by his snow suit and so snow does not seem to be his thing.  He did enjoy speeding down his slide that was iced up.  Both Owen and Hannah practically shot off the end of the slide and flew through the air landing with a thump on the ground.  Daddy decided be better catch them.  They had so much fun going down the slide over and over that it was practically dark before we went in to warm up.

 For once Owen is content to observe the action instead of being the center of it.

 Let's make a snow angel!  Mommy had to help move Hannah's arms and legs back and forth.  That was tricky with so many clothes on.

 If you look closely you can see the grin on Owen's face as he anticipates his fast trip down the icy, slick slide.

On Saturday morning Aunt Vic called to see if we wanted to play outside in the snow.  Wesley was bundled in his snowsuit and had already been out for a walk.  Hannah and Owen decided this sounded fun and so we quickly got dressed and into our snowsuits again to go out and play with Wesley, Aunt Vic, and Uncle Troy. They came to our house for the sledding hill that is our driveway and we had so much fun playing outside together!

 Hannah graduates to sledding all by herself!  This was a very big deal as we are all about our independence these days!
