A Visit with Santa

Hannah and Owen loved seeing Santa last year so we knew we didn't have to spend a month prepping them for their visit this year.  We were excited to be able to attend the Santa Party at Nelm's Photographic Artistry again this year after going through the great Santa Chase of 2012 when we missed it due to Hannah and Owen being sick.  Hannah and Owen were excited and looked so precious in their Christmas finery.  Nelm's is such a quaint place to see Santa.  Her studio is in a small house like building, with only a few families in line before us, and cookies and punch to enjoy after.  It's the best environment really.  Hannah and Owen were mesmerized by Santa in all his glory.  Owen approached Santa and before even sitting down he said, "Hey Santa, I've got something to tell you!"  Santa replied sweetly with, "well tell me.".  Owen proceeded to state that he needed some trucks for Christmas.  He was delighted when Santa said he thought he could do something about that.  Hannah's first words to Santa were, "Santa, do you like my dress?".  It was so sweet and priceless!  Hannah of course asked for more baby dolls or maybe Owen requested this for her since he tends to spout off his Christmas wishes and her's all in one sentence. After visiting with Santa they each got to pick out a Santa book to take home and they got cookies with sprinkles which they believe Mrs. Claus made and sent with Santa.  When talking about their visit Hannah will say Santa's beard was so soft and so were his red leggings!  Chris and I enjoyed every minute of this Christmas memory for 2013!
