Santa Comes to Town

Santa came through on a firetruck early this year, but boy were we excited.  Santa and firetrucks...what more could make a boy happy.  Owen could hardly contain himself as the sirens and flashing lights got closer and closer to our neighborhood and street.  We enjoyed hanging out with our neighbors and listening to the delight of the neighborhood children as they flocked to ends of their driveways and out onto their porches to wave to Santa.

 Owen walked around with his hand up to his ear saying, "listen, listen".

 We immediately had to come inside and recreate Santa on the fire truck with our playmobil Santas and firetrucks.  Owen chose his red firetruck because Hanover Co. has red fire trucks.  Hannah chose the white one because it had a siren.

At the tender age of 3 there are few things more exciting than seeing Santa ride down your street on a fire truck.  Owen said, "he even honked his horn for me!"
