So what exactly happens at a Santa party? Well, Grandma cooks a lot of yummy food and has lots of snacks too. Aunt Vic planned a Santa craft for the kids and they got to make reindeer food too. Nay handled party favors (Santa rings and Go Packs with stickers and crayons). In addition to crafts and food the kids played and watched Mickey's Clubhouse: Mickey Saves Santa. It was a evening filled with friends, family, and lots of laughter. Maybe next year Santa will be able to join us too!
Hannah makes a Santa beard for herself with the pile of cotton balls Aunt Vic handed out to her...she must have had some insight into our craft for the evening!
All the kids gathered around the table to make their Santa masks!
All the mommies help make Santa masks by squirting the glue and encouraging the placement of cotton balls.
Next up Reindeer Food:
We layered oatmeal, green sprinkles, white sugar sprinkles, red sprinkles, and more oatmeal into round plastic containers with lids.
Be sure to take this magic food and sprinkle on the lawn,
On Christmas, Santa's reindeer travel miles before the dawn.
The smell of oats and glitter path will guide them on their way
And you'll wake up to Santa's gifts next morn on Christmas Day!

We take a break to enjoy Hannah and Owen's favorite: Mickey's Clubhouse. Lucky for us it was Mickey Saves Santa...themed appropriately for our party!
The fun continues as we wait for Santa:
Aunt Vic and Uncle Troy borrow the Santa masks (this looks like Christmas card quality for next year!)
Before putting on pjs (well Wesley was already ready to go) we ended our party with a picture to capture the night. Avery, Hannah, Wesley, and Owen with their Santa masks...too cute!
Wesley plays Santa!
Don't miss this fun next year Santa!
