Christmas Celebrations Begin

On the Sunday before Christmas we went to Aunt Debra and Uncle Donald's house to celebrate Christmas with part of Daddy's family (Hannah and Owen's great grandma-Mema, great aunt and uncle, and Daddy's cousin and her family).  We had fun dressing up in our Christmas clothes even though it was a humid almost 80 degrees here that day with torrential rain.  We enjoyed having dinner with family and opening presents too.

Aunt Debra leaves the best toys out for us to play with.
Grandma plays with us too.
Anna helps Hannah open her presents and gives her an explanation about what everything is.
Princess shoes! Now we are in trouble.
Owen's turn...he gets an electrical service bucket truck and some Duplo blocks!
Hannah gets a new baby doll and...
Aunt Debra shows Hannah the doll clothes she made for her.
Owen's Great Great Uncle Norman offers to help Owen open his bucket truck.  Owen is beside himself and can't wait for the truck to be out of the package.  Thanks Uncle Norma for helping Owen out!

Hannah spends time learning how to be a princess and how to walk in her new fancy shoes!  This takes more than a little practice!  The first wobbly steps were quite amusing to see.
Owen takes his bucket truck back to the dollhouse room to commandeer some of the people.  He immediately puts them in the bucket and lifts them up in the air.  The babies get put in the front seat to drive! A truck is not worth much to Owen unless he can put people in them!
Jay offers to sit down and play with Owen.
Thanks Jay...Owen really looks up to you!
