This year we decided Hannah and Owen were old enough to try dying Easter eggs. Hannah and Owen were really excited about it. Owen actually does enjoy eating hard boiled eggs so we knew they'd go to good use once they were dyed. We bought a simple egg dying kit from Target and pulled out a few other supplies like newspapers to cover the table, solo cups for the egg dye, art smocks to keep our clothes clean, and luckily Daddy had exactly 4 rubber gloves in his work van which worked out to be one for each of us. Hannah and Owen really liked watching the color tablets dissolve in the water and vinegar. They of course wanted to do everything "all by themselves" and for the most part did with little mess. Of course Mommy had to keep saying, "not that hand, use your hand with the glove!" They did really enjoy seeing the eggs turn colors and then we used some stickers from Grandma to decorate them to look like bunny rabbits.
