Hopping Down the Bunny Trail

Hannah and Owen were excited about the Easter bunny although they still didn't understand or have as much knowledge and awareness about the Easter bunny as they did about Santa.  They were excited to leave their baskets out the night before and Hannah scattered her empty eggs on the floor so that Easter bunny could fill them up when he stopped by.  When they awoke on Easter morning they did quickly remember the Easter bunny was supposed to have come and wanted to go see if he left them something.  From the doorway of their room they spotted...paw prints!  Owen noticed them right away and knew exactly what they were.  They were super excited to run down the hall and check them out.

Hannah and Owen inspect the left behind paw prints.
Following the paw prints leads us to...our Easter baskets!

Look!  The Easter bunny hopped right up in the chair and onto the table where he left Hannah and Owen's filled Easter baskets!

Hannah and Owen couldn't believe the Easter bunny went into the refrigerator for some of mommy's carrots.
It looks like he played with Owen's trucks at the play table too!
It was determined that he hopped up on the counter and out the window to deliver treats to someone else's house when he was finished at our house.

The eggs are cracked open right away and the first pieces of candy are enjoyed at 8am!  Owen sweetly shared his sweet tarts with everyone that day.

The Easter bunny left Peeps, sweet tarts, Haribo gummies, and Annie's Bunny Gummies as treats in our Easter baskets.
We also received new bibles, slinkys, water color paint, scissors, wallets, books, games, new toothbrushes, and hair bows for Hannah.
I think we'll remember the Easter bunny from now on.
