Tulips Galore

During Spring Break we were excited to go to Lewis Ginter to see the blooming tulips.  We waited until the afternoon so the weather would be warmer and headed out after a good nap so we'd have plenty of energy to enjoy all the sights.  Hannah and Owen decided to bring their cameras along to get some pictures.  Hannah really enjoyed using her camera to take pictures just like Nana.  It was a beautiful afternoon and we really enjoyed all the spring sights and sounds at one of our favorite places.

 What a beautiful sight!

 Stopping to sniff the tulips
Hannah gets up close for a picture of a tulip that is her favorite color...purple!

Hannah and Nana take pictures together.
We went inside to check out the orchids.

Then headed across the bridge to the children's garden.  Hannah and Owen were excited to see the turtles back out after their winter hibernation.  We spotted some fish in the water too.

Up to the tree house we go...Owen has an ulterior motive-he can see the construction equipment working on the new walkway better from up high!

Then we headed to the sandbox to play in the sand and watch a cement mixer in action!
This day can't get any better!

We're finally big enough to climb on the branches of this great climbing tree!

We are so silly!
