Right after Christmas we decided to take Hannah and Owen to Portrait Innovations for 6 week pictures. We had their hospital pictures, but wanted something else to be able to compare the rest of the year's pictures to. We took the earliest appointment on advice from a friend (thanks Heather!) and we were all worn out by the time we were done. Owen was his usual laid back self and often looked over at Hannah as if thinking...what is your deal sis?!...if you get it together we'll be done faster because Hannah spent much of the appointment crying or fussing but you wouldn't know it from the pictures. After pictures we took Hannah and Owen over Short Pump for a little stroll, but not before we fed them in the front seat of the car. Feeding a newborn in the driver seat is not the easiest task but Chris and I were pulling double duty and the back seat is filled with 2 infant carriers. We had been wanting to go to Short Pump throughout the whole Christmas season and never made it. We figured Hannah and Owen couldn't catch anything if we were outside and kept the the canopy over each carrier. It's amazing what stares and interest a double stroller will draw. This was also Chris' official test as "limo driver". He did pretty good, but almost took out a display in BabyGap and that was after he had to call me on my cell phone because I had gone in without holding the door open for him. After our stroll around the mall we went to see my mom at work. Our first family trip out was a great day and it felt wonderful to just be out and about together as a family! Here are their pictures from Portrait Innovations...I had to scan them because we have somehow managed to misplace (temporarily I hope) the CD of images.

Hannah is fussing or getting ready to!
These shirts were a special gift from a good friend and we love them!
