Spring Break: An Afternoon with Nana and Grandad

Nana and Grandad invited us down for dinner the other weekend.  We got there early and were able to go to the playground close to their neighborhood.  Hannah and Owen had the playground to themselves and we had a lot of fun playing with Nana and Granddad   Granddad also brought Cooper along and Hannah and Owen enjoyed watching him chase his ball.  They also tried to kick the ball the Cooper, but Cooper was a little confused as to why it didn't go as far as when Granddad kicks it.  We also enjoyed hanging out with Uncle Jake.  Nana also had special toys for Hannah and Owen to play with so they had a great time and can't wait to go back to Nana and Granddad's again!

 Hannah has been asking to throw Cooper his ball ever since she did this at the beach last summer.  So she was excited to play with Cooper at "his" field.

 Hannah kicks the ball to Cooper only it doesn't go as far as Granddad's kick.

 Hannah LOVES to swing!  She especially liked this swing because it was higher off the ground and Daddy could make her go way high in the sky!  In fact she requested Daddy to push each time she decided to swing while at the playground (which was about 6).

 Owen is in constant motion these days...we joke that he never walks anywhere, but runs always!

 Owen likes to swing too, but only for short bits of time.

 Even Daddy likes to swing!

 Owen climbs up the rock wall with Nana's help.

 Owen is in his glory because he imagines he is driving a fire truck.

 Nana was the only one privileged enough to get to ride on Owen's fire truck.

 And the climbing rope becomes the...fire pole!

 Hannah has to try the monkey bars (with Daddy's help of course!)  You should have seen her face...I didn't capture the one with her mouth wide open with glee!
