Hannah, Wesley, and Owen
There was a children's activity station set up in the solarium with the orchid display so Hannah and Owen decided to color and draw with the bigger kids.
The 3 Amigos as Aunt Vic calls them
We got to see the last day of the orchid display. All the orchids were organized by color so we really enjoyed looking at them and talking about all the colors we could see.
Hannah thought this display of paper cranes was pretty amazing!
Wow, that's a really big leaf Owen!
Grandad lets Hannah throw some pennies into the fountain.
Owen makes the really large chime pole ring as he hits it with this big stick. It was really cool, but he also took Hannah and Wesley out in the process. A shorter stick might be better next time!
Playing in the sand area was lots of fun. This was our first "sand box" experience since they've only played in beach sand and that was a long time ago. They thought it was pretty fun, but were very concerned about the sand getting on their clothes and shoes.
Wesley watches and then knows just what to do with his bucket and shovel.
A few more pictures to round out our fun day spent together at Lewis Ginter.
Hannah thinks she's Miss Hollywood in Grandad's sunglasses!

Thanks for spending the morning with us Nana and Grandad!
