Touch a Truck

The weekend after the fair we went to the Touch A Truck even put on by the Junior League of Richmond.  Owen was in his glory and Hannah loved it too.  Here they got to see all kinds of trucks just like the ones they read about in books and look for when we are driving around.  There were tractor trailers, car carriers, dump trucks, box trucks, bucket trucks, fire trucks, ambulances, a police car, a helicopter, and excavators, skid steers, and bulldozers.  Owen got in almost every single one of them and he would have walked around all day looking at them.

Owen hops in the back of the ambulance to check it out.
Owen sees his reflection in this shiny wheel on the dump truck.

It's fun to stand on the back of a bucket truck.

Owen, Daddy, and Hannah take a turn at shooting water out of a fire hose...

...to get the tennis balls down the chute of this "building".

We were  hot and tired when we left, but we had so much fun at this event!
