It has become tradition that we head to the mountains of Virginia to pick apples each fall. This year we went back to Chiles Peach Orchard to pick our apples. It is a beautiful setting and less crowded than some other more popular orchards. Hannah and Owen always have such a great time picking apples. They can fill their bags in no time and recently gave our neighbors pointers on apple picking. They told the neighbors to only pick apples off the trees and not to pick up any from the ground because they might have bugs in them! This is such a fun age. I don't have to say much more because the pictures speak for themselves!

Picture perfect!
Up, up, up they go to pick the first apples!
What a sight!
How many apples can 2 almost 3 year olds pick?
We've picked all the apples we can carry now what...play in the fields beyond the apple orchard.
A tired boy clings to his daddy.
Owen waits for Daddy to pay for our apples and to buy apple cider doughnuts...yum!
Two almost 3 year olds and a few helpers can pick 50-60 lbs of apples!
Owen anticipates his first bite!
Hannah proclaimed the doughnuts delicious!
This smile sums up our sweet day together!
