Happy Halloween!

Hannah and Owen were so excited about Halloween this year as each year they remember more and more.  They loved their Mickey and Minnie costumes...thanks, Grandma!  They were excited about walking around the neighborhood, getting candy, and hanging out with family and friends as it has become a tradition for Nana, Grandad, Uncle Jake, and Sarah to come over for Halloween.  This year Nana and Sarah walked around with us while Uncle Jake and Grandad manned the candy bowl at our house.  Owen tired more quickly of walking around because Owen does everything at top speed.  Hannah set her sights on visiting every house on every street in the neighborhood although we did end up heading home before she accomplished her goal.

Final details...Mickey and Minnie pumpkins come to life!

Classic, almost 4 year old smiles that are silly, but Owen's hand on Hannah's shoulder make this picture priceless!
Transformed into Mickey and Minnie and ready to go!
The start of trick or treaters coming down the street captured and held their attention!

 Owen was so excited!

Our friends from next door are ready to go too!

Across the yard to Sarah and Hannah's house to make our first stop of the night!

Across the street we got to make and eat s'mores!  So fun!

Mrs. Judy was really excited to see us!

When we got home we ate dinner, and lots of candy, and played with our family and friends.  Ms. Sarah always has special treats for us.  Tonight we got dress up capes and an orange feather boa perfect for Halloween!  Uncle Jake brought us his usual treat...a full size Milky Way bar that he stops at the gas station to buy on his way to our house!  We love our fun fall traditions and we're already talking about next year's costumes!
