Let the Birthday Celebrations Begin

Celebrating Hannah and Owen's birthday this year was tricky!  Their actual birthday fell on a Tuesday.  I had the day off, but Daddy did not so we had to figure out a plan for opening gifts and celebrating that would work best for 2 four year olds (I still can't believe I'm actually saying that number).  We decided to let them open their presents on Monday night, the night before their birthday.  We figured this way they'd get plenty of time to play with everything on their birthday instead of having to wait until that night.  Hannah and Owen were so excited about this idea!
We're so excited about our birthday and wearing birthday crowns that Mommy brought from school!

Now that we're 4 we get to dunk Oreo cookies in milk as a special dessert treat!

I love this picture and the ones that follow of my precious babies that are growing up before my eyes!

 Time to open presents:

Giddy with excitement over a Thomas the Train set and Hannah over her Fisher Price Dollhouse!

When Hannah realized what was in the box after only unwrapping half of it she exclaimed, "It's what I've always wanted!!"  It was priceless and leaves me giddy with excitement for Christmas.
Hannah was so thrilled that she lay across the box giving it a hug.

Owen and Daddy kindly put together Hannah's dollhouse before building train tracks for Thomas.

Daddy and Owen work to build the train tracks together.
Such joy over her dollhouse as she begins to play right away.  She is totally in love with this gift!

Owen is equally filled with joy and love for his train set!
