A Fun Day with Mommy

So early in the month of October Daddy had several work weekends and late nights too.  One of the weekends was rainy and messy outside and so we decided to spend the day making crafts, playing with playdoh, snuggling in front of the TV, and making pumpkin cookies.  It was awesome and I loved every minute of this special time spent with Hannah and Owen especially since my weekdays have been so busy and tiring with the start of school.

 Just a box mix, but we were super excited.  Actually a box mix is perfect for two 3 year olds!

 You have to make sure jobs are divided equally between this pair!

 We started out mixing with spoons and then Mommy got smart and moved everything into the mixer.

 Watching the mixer go round and round never gets old.

 Time to scoop them onto the cookie sheet.

 We worked on our Halloween crafts while they baked.

 The part we were most excited about...frosting and sprinkles!

 Note to self...these little ball sprinkles get everywhere!  Next time buy sprinkles that don't roll right off the cookie and all over the kitchen floor!
