Preschool Halloween Parade

I was so excited for Hannah and Owen to participate in their Halloween parade at preschool!  We love that place!  Hannah and Owen wore their costumes to preschool that day and after drop off the parents lined up outside to see the parade.  After the parade parent volunteers for each classroom helped the children out of their costumes.  I took the day off from school because my heart couldn't stand the thought of missing the costume parade.  I also decided that Daddy and Mr. Zach needed help with the Halloween party that was to follow in Hannah's classroom later that morning.  The room parents instructed the parents signed up for the party that they needed to bring snacks, a game, a craft, a story, and a treat bag and I thought it'd be best for all involved if I jumped in and helped plus party planning is one of my favorite things.  Unfortunately I don't have any pictures because we were busy the whole time but the kids played pin the eyes on the monster and rollled a dice to create a jack o latern plus they played a monster matching game.  They also made a craft with foam pumpkins and orange pasta wagon wheels.  For snack we had apple slices, pumpkin pretzels, and Halloween funfetti cupcakes.  It was so much fun (I just wish that my dear friend had been here to see it although I know she was watching)!

Hannah and Avery lead their class in the parade and they were all smiles!  Pretending to be famous and waving at crowd is so fun!  I think Hannah actually felt like the real Minnie Mouse!

Here comes Owen and he was all smiles as we waved and yelled, "Hi, Mickey!"
