New Toys

Hannah and Owen love playing with the new toys they got for their birthday.  Their favorites are their mega bloks bus, dump truck, and tow truck.  They also love their Noah's Ark.  They like to play with all the animals and put them on the ark and take them off.  The ark comes apart and they like to store the animals inside and dump them out. 

 Yes, Owen is pushing Hannah down the hall on her ride on toy.

They love love love their walkers and spend probably hours a day "walking" up and down the hall.  Owen is hysterical to watch.  I think he "drives" like Chris.  He is practically running behind the walker-we better watch out when he is walking on his own.  He picks the walker up at the end of the hall and turns it around so that he can come back.  He also whips it around the corner into the kitchen and walks around our dining room table.  He manages to manuever around Hannah when she is sitting on the floor.  He also like to use both walkers interchangeably and sometimes hijacks the walker that Hannah is using.  We say Hannah looks like driving Miss Daisy with her walker.  I laugh because she takes her sweet time cruising down the hallways while Owen laps her several times! When she runs into the doorway or other obstacle she just stand there whereas Owen either pushes the obstacle out of the way or moves the walker over so he can continue on his journey.

 I hope this gives you a good picture of how crazy it is at our house these days with 2 one year old zipping and zooming up and down the hall and in and around our house!  It is great fun actually and provide us with hours of entertainment.  Wow, our lives used to be boring!
