Hannah and Owen watched the Macy's Parade on TV while eating pancakes for breakfast. Their favorite part of the parade was the Sesame Street float. We had to back the DVR up 4 times and watch it over and over and over again.
We made lots of turkey's leading up to Thanksgiving. We delivered our turkey crafts to Grandma Hanna & EE, Grandma & Papa, and Nana & Grandad.
Painting their feet to make turkey bodies was their favorite.
They still talk about painting their feet and ask to do it again.
On Thanksgiving Day we went to Grandma Hanna and EE's house for a Thanksgiving lunch. We saw Nana and Grandad and Aunt Renee, Ashleigh, Kenny, and Kelsey. I was so excited for Hannah and Owen to try all the Thanksgiving food that we all love...they didn't want any of it (not even sweet potato casserole). They ate their usual staples of yogurt, fruit, and they had a Thanksgiving roll.
Their favorite part about Thanksgiving at Grandma Hanna & EE's was playing with the decorative fruit. This kept them entertained for over an hour at least.
On Saturday we celebrated Thanksgiving with Grandma and Papa, Mema, Aunt Vic, Uncle Troy, Wesley, and Aunt Vic's family (The Streeter's). We had a great time hanging out and playing together. Hannah and Owen enjoyed exploring all of Wesley's toys and Owen and Wesley took to climbing up the stairs several times (with Owen leading the way and Wesley following behind). Again, Hannah and Owen mostly picked at Thanksgiving dinner, but they did enjoy the carrot cake cupcakes.
