Santa Comes to Town on a Fire Truck

It is a tradition in Hanover for Santa to ride through the neighborhoods on a fire truck.  We were excited for Hannah and Owen to take part in this exciting night this year because they love love love fire trucks and Santa too.  When we heard the sirens sounding we raced (literally) around the house to scramble into our shoes, coats, and hats and headed outside to wait to see Santa.  It is so fun to see all the neighborhood boys and girls out and excited about Santa coming through.  It really is a great event!  This year we waited for Santa and visited with many of our neighbors too.  Since we live pretty close to a fire station we hear the sirens often.  Now, Owen runs to the door saying Santa Santa when he hears them.
